Versyss Data Systems is pleased
to announce that we will be offering an electronic W2 reporting service for
customers who use Versyss payroll applications and must file W2 payroll
information for 2006 electronically.
All organizations that
anticipate filing more that 250 employee W2’s with the federal government
are required to submit their W2 information electronically. Most state governments now also require
electronic filing for more than 250 employees as well. Please check with your accountant to determine
if the states you report to require electronic reporting of W2 information.
If you elect to have Versyss Data Systems submit your W2
information electronically on
your behalf, our
service will include:

Detailed information on how to prepare and forward
your completed W2 information to Versyss.
·
Loading your W2 information on our
processing servers upon receipt from your organization.
·
Formatting the data based on each agencies
reporting requirements.
·
Confirming the reporting amounts to your W3 form
submitted with your data.
·
Transmitting the information to the federal
government and each state agency you request us to report to, by the
required deadlines.
Customers who have utilized this service last year will
receive a letter in the mail shortly detailing the process and associated
processing fees. Anyone who has not
previously filed electronically, but must file electronically for 2006,
should call Bruce Bisonette at 800-452-2502 ext 245 to request additional
information. All requests for this
service must be received by Versyss no later than December 18, 2006 to register for the Q1,
2007 processing and filing.
