Versyss Data Integrity Policy

DATA INTEGRITY

One of many of the valuable assets of your organization is the data that is stored and maintained on a daily basis in your Versyss computer system.   It represents an enormous amount of daily work and is, in most cases, one of the assets necessary for your business to function effectively on a daily basis.  It is most likely integral to your sales, shipping, and billing processes and provides valuable information required to manage and measure your business on an on-going basis.

The integrity of your data is the responsibility of you, your company management, your employees, and to a more limited extent, every third party person who may have access to, or otherwise support your system.  Management of data integrity starts with good security through password protection to limit who has access to your system and the knowledge of your staff on use of the system and your accounting processes to insure accuracy of data entered.   Perhaps one of the most important aspects of good data integrity is insuring that you have a defined back up procedure to back up data daily should an unexpected system problem occur.  If you have any questions regarding proper backup procedures to follow, please contact your internal IT department or Versyss support for guidance.

As your Versyss applications support organization we understand the importance and value of your data and every service we provide is structured around servicing your system while insuring the integrity of that data at all times. Typically, support involves operational guidance to your staff on the use of your applications functions through defined processes and procedures.  At times support may need to resolve an error message or other system problem, which could be caused by, or relate to your data.  When this is the case Versyss support will provide guidance as to the procedures to follow to correct customer data to resolve an issue. It is not the responsibility of Versyss to personally correct customer data for any reason.  Good data integrity practices mandate that no third party be allowed to modify customer data for any reason.  In fact it is our company policy that no Versyss employee has the authority to enter, delete, or otherwise modify your data at any time, even with your approval to do so.  When it is necessary to correct your data to resolve an issue rest assured that Versyss will work with your staff to provide the guidance necessary to resolve any problem caused by data.

The success of your use of the Versyss systems and the accuracy and integrity of your valuable data is of the utmost concern to us and we will continue to do provide the assistance necessary to allow you to maintain the integrity of your data at all times.  If you have any questions regarding your security, back up procedures, or steps to protect your data please do not hesitate to contact a Versyss support representative at any time.
